AccessibilityOverview

Accessibility

de:volt targets WCAG 2.2 AA for its marketing, documentation, account, billing and de:volt Learn surfaces. The simulator is a canvas tool, so parts of it are still being brought up to that target; both documents below say exactly which parts, rather than claiming more than has been verified.

The two documents

  • Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT 2.5) - the criterion-by-criterion report for the simulator and de:volt Learn. WCAG 2.2 A and AA tables, Section 508 and EN 301 549 mapping, the evaluation methods used so far, and a tracked list of the known gaps with severities and planned fixes. This is the document to attach to a procurement or tender response.
  • Accessibility statement - the shorter public statement: the standard we target, what is supported today, the known limitations of the visual surfaces, and how schools and workplaces should handle accommodation duties.

Requesting the report as a PDF

There is no PDF build pipeline. Open the report and print it from the browser (Cmd+P on macOS, Ctrl+P on Windows and Linux) with “Save as PDF” as the destination. If you need a dated or countersigned copy for a procurement file, email hello@devoltapp.com and name the report version you need.

Reporting a problem

Send accessibility issues and accommodation requests to hello@devoltapp.com with the page URL, your browser and assistive technology, what you were trying to do and what blocked you.
